Bomi Ship is a family company. It was started in 1992 by Bozo Culav, a naval architect with an intense vision of building a successful business in the just-established Croatian state. Parallel to Croatia building its economy, Bomi Ship was building ships. Often partnering with the leading national shipyards, we undertook to finish works on tankers, transoceanic ships, ro-ro vessels, and yachts.

At the onset of the millennial era, Croatian yachting tourism boomed, and we recognized that it was time for a change of course. With the ropes now in the hands of Božo’s children, Marijana and Damir, in 2003, we took on yacht charter management and yacht brokerage. Starting first with yacht management of bareboat charter, we added crewed yacht charters in 2008.

It was during this period that we mastered the complexities of the yachting industry, bringing our extremely demanding bareboat charter management operations to perfection. At the forefront of the sector’s development, we were pioneers who actively participated in creating the present-day framework for yacht charters in Croatia.
